Polizeiruf 110 - Taubers Angst

The corpse of a high-class prostitute is found in the Isar. The investigations quickly lead to a suspect: her last customer Hermann Denninger (Herbert Knaup). He flatly denies the crime and even attacks commissioner Tauber (Edgar Selge) in an unobserved moment – almost strangles him to the point of unconsciousness. However, with the help of his lawyer, Denninger gets off scot-free. Tauber sets out to single-handedly nail him: a battle against an intellectually matched opponent and the ever-worsening anxiety attacks that the policeman, severely traumatized by this case, is experiencing. In the end, colleague Obermaier (Michaela May) has to protect Tauber from himself, in order to prevent the policeman from losing his nerves.

Maybe such subtle humour on German TV can not be surpassed.
