Es geht nicht immer nur um Sex

After Liza (Sophie Schütt) has once again been betrayed by a "great" love, she seeks comfort from her impulsive friend Janni (Rita Lengyel). Janni doesn't want to let Liza's sadness sour her life and puts an astronomy and physics student friend (Boris Aljinovic) onto her. But then Liza also meets Kid, a motorcycle policeman (Markus Knüfken) who knows all the tricks. The charm of the one and the sex appeal of the other are hard to resist. Liza puts them both to the test. And low and behold: both of them only boil with water, too. In the process, Liza almost overlooks her new boss - a bookseller (Joram Voelklein) who seems to have eyes only for his bibliophile treasures and is firmly convinced that love is not always about sex. One would think...
A splendid debut as director by Christine Hartmann.
